Location of Geological Feature
A fossil tree trunk, representing the Purbeck Group, lies atop of a 'cliff' of Portland Stone. This is the largest example in London, at around 2-3 m long. Please note that the 'Mesozoic Island' is not publicly accessible, but these 'geological illustration outcrops' can be viewed from the public paths.
