Location of Geological Feature
The upper parts of the building use a dark grey stone pressed into concrete as a decorative stone effect. In this region, North Welsh dolerites were used to creat this effect. Unfortunately these are too high to examine at first hand, but given the date of the building, Penmaenmawr granodiorite was probably used.
