Location of Geological Feature
The plinth of the statue was a gift to Westerham of Marshall Tito and comes from the former Yugoslavia. I have not been able to find any reord of the quarry, but the Istrian Peninsula has been the most important region of limestone quarries in the former Yugoslavia.
