Location of Geological Feature
The second to bottom archivolt above the west door of Tutbury Church comprises 30 blocks of intricately carved local alabaster. The photographs were taken in 2017 after some cleaning trials had been undertaken. The archivolt was cleaned and conserved in 2018/19 at a cost of about £80,000.
