Location of Geological Feature
The mountain depicted in the sculpture is Cader Idris and is made made from Woodkirk Sandstone from Leeds in Yorkshire. One has to ask - why? Surely Welsh slate would have been more appropriate? Originally located outside Cardif Central Station but now in the Hamadryad Park, Cardiff Bay area.
