Location of Geological Feature
Flints are the main construction stone used in the rubble masonry of the Town Walls. Local knapping techniques have produced abundant 'nippled flints' with small cones of percussion. Echinoid fossils, often appearing as ring-shaped cross-sections are common in Norfolk flints.
