Buy us a coffee

London Pavement Geology is free to use, has no advertising, and is run in people’s spare time. If it has been useful to you — or if you have simply enjoyed knowing what you are walking on — you are very welcome to put something towards it.

Where the money goes

Nowhere exciting: hosting, the domain, the mapping service, and the occasional bit of development. Nobody is paid to run this project. Any contribution simply keeps the record online and lets us keep adding to it.

Other ways to help, which are worth more than a coffee

  • Submit a location. A well-photographed building with a decent note about it is genuinely the most valuable thing you can give us.
  • Tell us when we are wrong. Stone identification is a matter of judgement and we do not always get it right. Corrections are welcome and they get made.
  • Pass it on. Mention it to a colleague, a class, a walking group, or anyone who has ever stopped to look at a kerbstone.

Either way, thank you for reading. Questions to [email protected].
